Setting Up Avaada Solar Plants in Villages
Avaada Foundation is advancing rural electrification and environmental sustainability through clean and renewable energy solutions. We established two 25 kW solar power plants in Jayapur, the Prime Minister’s adopted village, successfully operating for over 12 years. We have also set up a 25 kW solar project in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, and solar microgrids in Leh and Kargil, Jammu & Kashmir, bringing reliable clean energy to remote communities. Through sustainable solar energy solutions, we are reducing dependence on conventional power, improving energy access and contributing to a greener, low-carbon and energy-secure rural India.
Solar Street Lights and Inverters for Communities
Avaada Foundation has been promoting sustainable rural development through renewable and clean energy solutions. We have been installing solar street lights across villages in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, making public spaces safer and brighter while supporting community life after sunset. We have also been providing solar inverters in schools and ‘Avaada Community Development Centres’, ensuring uninterrupted learning, digital education and skill-development programmes. In addition, we have been installing solar-powered water heaters in schools and hostels, including in Karnataka, encouraging energy efficiency, environmental sustainability and the adoption of clean energy in everyday life.
